Women for Change has changed its strategic direction and as a result, it has come up with a new Strategic Plan for the period 2013-2017. Under the new Strategic Plan, the Vision and Mission of the organization have changed to reflect the new strategic direction that the organization plans to take.
On 6th of October, 2012, Women for Change commemorated its 20th anniversary. As part of the commemoration, the organization underwent a reflection and review process to assess how it has performed over the last 20 years. As a result of reflection and review, the organization has come with anew strategic direction. This new direction is contained in it latest 2013-2017 Strategic Plan.
The change in strategic direction involved scaling down on the areas of focus, reducing on the number of operational areas and focusing on new thematic areas. The vision and mission of the organization has also changed. Details of this new direction are contained in this Strategic Plan.
